This is a volcanic rock mainly composed of very hard silica. It has high resistance to wear, abrasion and compression. It is not sensitive to acids and is hard to scratch and if opportunely treated is hard to stain. The length of the sheets is between 280 and 330 cm and the thicknesses used are 2 or 3 cm. The tolerance of the thickness is +/- 1.5mm if not calibrated.
For daily cleaning a neutral soap diluted in water is fine. If this is not enough to remove all the dirt from the surface ammonia or bleach can safely be used. The granite has good resistance to chemical aggression of acid substances that are not too strong, such as alcohol.
